What is a Wish List?

Wish List is the place where you put all the gifts you want to receive on Christmas, Birthday, Wedding or any other occasion and show it to your friends and family. This way they will know what you want and you are going to get gift you really like.

I created my wish list, what's next?

Send it to your frends! You will get unique URL for your wishlist like http://mywishes.net/your_username/. Now get explosure - add a link to wish list on your homepage, send it to your fiends. You may use Invite Friend feature from your members area or send it yourself. Please, be reasonable, nobody likes SPAM and your wish list will be removed if we get any complains regarding unsolicited e-mails.

What is the reservation?

Your friends can reserve a gift from your wish list. Nobody will see wish once it was reserved. So, you are not getting the same gift from 5 persons. To make reservation they should confirm their e-mail address, so we keep an eye what's going on. One guest may reserve up to 3 wishes, and reservation will expire after 30 days. They may also cancel their reservation any time, so gift will be visible to others again.

Congratulations! Make sure you removed it from your wish list - login to the members area and click button Done next to that gift. If someone reserved that gift, they will get an e-mail alert immediately.

Will it cost me something?

Absolutely no. It's free, we are not going to charge you anything ever. The reason we created and maintain this site is kind of advertising we are getting from it. We are web design company, so this is just a good project we proudly show in our portfolio. We also offer wish lists, shopping carts and other software for online merchants. When they are asking us about demo - we refer them to MyWishes.net. So, enjoy and don't worry!

What about privacy?

Well, everybody may see your wish list, it's just how it works. But the only piece of personal information we display there is your name. Feel free to use nickname if you want more privacy. We are not asking your address or phone number and this information will be never published anywhere. Your E-Mail is used only to send you system messages and alerts about your wishes statuses. We will never send you advertisements or any other unsolicited mailings. Your E-Mail is safe - it will be never shared with anyone and it's not published on your wish list, so e-mail collecting robots that pick up addresses from web site will find nothing on our site.
